We've been fans of Jamie Bissonnette ever since his tenure at Eastern Standard -- we even developed a minor case of culinary anxiety when he moved on -- but his post as executive chef at Ken Oringer's KO Prime has further solidified his reputation as one of Boston's culinary elite. (He's also worked in kitchens in New York, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Paris.) We love listening to the unabashed carnivore wax poetic on exemplary cuts of meat and out-there charcuterie plates, but one might also find him quietly tending to his rooftop garden, where he cultivates everything from mint and tarragon to edible flowers. What else do we love? Biss has some bad-ass ink.
