It sounds gross, but
honey, is it grand. Sambal paste (made from chili peppers) heats up
grapefruit vodka and white
cranberry juice, which is then sprinkled with crisp toasted coconut. Sweet,
savory, spicy, and acidic, the Hot Mess ($11) is, surprisingly,
anything but. The wackadoo flavor combination actually works beautifully
together and pairs fantastically with food. Who knew? You do now.
