Derby to take a sabbatical in, say, Miami, this would be its signature
drink. The Beehive Julep ($10.50) is bright citrus sunshine, fruity and
minty with the pleasant presence of tangy orange and sugar cane, thanks
in large part to Clément Créole Shrubb, a product of Martinique that
blends white and aged rums, orange peels, and Creole spices. Rum, fresh
mint, lime juice, and a splash of orange juice round out the Créole
Shrubb for a cocktail that’s Triple Crown–worthy.
