We tend to pay more attention to your average salon's shampoo display than its décor, but
Station 8 (761 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, 617.553.4884) is quite the chic exception. This gorgeous, roomy loft space, situated right on JP's main drag, puts cramped, elbow-bumping Newbury Street salons to shame. We love Station 8's expansive wood floors, bold paint colors, sky-high ceilings, and overall uncluttered, clean-lined look. Bonus: parking spaces are (gasp!) actually easy to come by in this 'hood.
