THROUGH FRIDAY, AUGUST 10
We can't stand multi-talented people. Why should one person get all the skills? But we'll make an exception for Andy Summers, who's both the guitarist for the Police and an accomplished photographer. While he and the band are on the road for their worldwide reunion tour, Summers's other body of work is also on display, in a traveling exhibition titled "I'll Be Watching You: Inside The Police 1980-1983," at Newbury Fine Arts (29 Newbury Street, Boston, 617.536.0210). Presented by Rockarchive.com, the 38-photo, black-and-white exhibit documents everything from band members living their sex-drugs-rock-and-roll lives to rabid fans and landscapes that caught Summers's keen eye. And if you missed the boys at Fenway Park, don't worry: the tour comes to the TD Banknorth Garden in November.
