Sure, we’d love to be mixing and mingling with the models, celebs, and paparazzi jamming Bryant Park, but we’re also happy to be dusting off our finest designer ensembles for Boston Fashion Week, celebrated all over our own city from September 7 through 14. There’ll be fashion shows featuring the work of local designers, including Sara Campbell, Jess Meyer, and Denise Hajjar, plus parties galore: Stilettos & Martinis, a fashion show and shoe party, and the week’s opening and closing bashes — the latter hosted by Stuff@night — will surely delight local fashionistas and socialites. Fashion Group International will be honoring industry mentors at the Ladder Awards, and there’ll be fashion-photography exhibits, a “Style Summit,” and, at the School of Fashion Design (136 Newbury Street, Boston, 617.536.9343), a runway exhibit of student work.
