Even the staunchest Red Sox fans can appreciate her collection of 11 new tracks, all framed by a post-9/11 New York. An observer by nature, Vega writes songs that explore the nuances of her city - sometimes literally, with tracks like "Ludlow Street" and "New York is a Woman" - but which also delve into the personal.
