Sometimes all it takes is a great group of people to get a kick-ass party started - and promotions team extraordinaire Future Classic has just that sort of buzz. Future Classic Fridays, held downstairs at Revolution Rock Bar (200 High Street, Boston, 617.261.4200) from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., attracts a young, party-ready crowd of tastemakers and hipsters. Resident DJ Frank White spins a mix of hip-hop, rock, classics, and '80s tracks, and there's a guest DJ once a month. Past turntable talents have included Oxy Cottontail, DJ Cat out of New York, and DJ Babu from the Beat Junkies. Future Classic has also been known to host fashion shows and private parties during the night. Cover charge is usually $5 to $10, depending on the event.
