JILL GOLDBERG is a pro at shopping for other people. Besides scouting and designing for her South End home store Hudson, the Wellesley native also does interior design for individual clients. And she's opening a second store in her hometown as early as this spring - which means she's out shopping for Hudson, her clients, and occasionally herself year-round. During the holidays, though, she tries to make it easy on herself. "I grab a pile of catalogs and ship it all out," she says. She also likes to keep it simple by spending her nights off close to home.
@ 6:15 p.m.: I'm usually out of here at six so my fiancé and I get the dog out and take her for a good long walk.
@ 7:30 p.m.: We've been really into trying new restaurants and bars, so we might check out Myers+Chang or something else new in the neighborhood.
@ 9:45 p.m.: We're at the age where we like to meet some friends out for a drink before heading back home, so we might head over to Clink at the new Liberty Hotel.
@ midnight: We might get a late-night cocktail or glass of wine at our friends' place in the South End. Most of our friends live about two or three blocks away from us, which means we can run back and check on the dog first.
@ 2 a.m.: Probably home and asleep!
