There's something about Champagne that always elevates our night to a new level of fantastic. So we'll take advantage of any opportunity to sip the stuff - and one of our favorites is the "You've Got Secrets, We've Got Bubbles" Champagne soirée series at RumBa (InterContinental Hotel, 510 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, 617.217.5148). On the first Saturday of every month, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., the lounge partners with a different Champagne house - it's Bollinger on January 5 - and offers the night's featured Champagne for $16 a glass, with other options for a still- reasonable $22. There are also theme nights; tonight's attendees will channel "Bond Men and Bond Ladies." DJ duo Soul Clap provides the soundtrack, and complimentary snacks such as chocolate-dipped strawberries are served. Next up is Perrier Jouët on February 2.
