Undocumented utility lines and difficulties associated with baseball traffic have been the convenient excuses of the MBTA. A 2008 completion date has been assured, but looking at the area, one has to wonder how it will be possible. Jersey barriers, poorly patched pavement, and an ever-expanding work zone cripple both automotive and foot traffic while creating the largest choke Kenmore Square has seen since the 2004 Yankees.
