These days, whenever we stroll along the banks of the Charles — heck, whenever the T trundles over the bridge to Cambridge — we sigh. Another summer gone, another marathon beach blowout that came and went without us. Those riveting sunsets, those hypnotic electronic beats that synch with your pulse, that Latin American seduction … sigh. If you share our longing for the soon-to-be-long-gone heat, head to the Paradise Rock Club (967 Comm Ave, Boston, 617.562.8800) tonight. You probably won’t find multitudes of gorgeous Brazilian bods, but you can get a flavor of the sultry night music that floats over the South American sand dunes when Federico Aubele drops in to drop beats and crank up the heat. His sensibility is grounded in the traditions of his native Argentina, but listen carefully and you’ll hear nods to the Kinks, classic Blue Note jazz cats, Mexican bolero, ska, and the Ramones. No wonder Thievery Corporation’s Eric Hilton liked him enough to produce his debut album. The show is at 9 p.m.; doors are at 8. Tickets ($12) are general admission and available at www.ticketmaster.com.
