St. Patrick's Festival at Harpoon Brewery

Irish eyes will be smiling under the heated outdoor tents of the 16th annual St. Patrick’s Festival at Harpoon Brewery (306 Northern Avenue, Boston, 888.HARPOON). The two-day celebration of the patron saint of Ireland (and, presumably, of really good beer, too) includes Harpoon brews such as Irish Red Celtic Ale; Emerald Isle–inspired eats from Boston Event Specialists; live music from U2 cover band Joshua Tree; and local acts Dicey Riley, Dennis Sullivan, and the Gobshites. Tickets ($20) are available only at the door and include one beer ticket and a souvenir cup. After your first beer, it’s a cash bar. The party runs from 5:30 to 11 p.m. on Friday and 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Too drink to drive? Hop a complimentary shuttle between South Station and the tents.
