... at the 686 x New Balance Launch Party at Concepts

John Griffin, aka Trife, assistant manager of Concepts
We flagged him down because his elbow patches matched his shoes. Now that's what we call coordination!
He looked sharp in a Woolrich top, Woolrich and Converse shoes, Diesel jeans, and a Polo Ralph Lauren belt.
He never thought he'd like Chucks, until he bought his first pair.
The shoes he's craving this season are blue high-tops by Gucci.
When it comes to fashion regrets, he says he has none. "I'm pretty picky about what I buy."
You'll spot him around town at Concepts, H&M, and Lord & Taylor.

Lauren Burns, associate public
relations manager for New Balance
We stopped her because a flash of gold caught our eye: rings and bracelets and necklaces, oh my!
She looked well put together in a Gap blazer, an Alternative Apparel top, Gap jeans, and what she thinks are Marc Jacobs boots (but she's lived in them for so long she can't remember for sure).
When accessorizing, she picks out pieces that mean something - gifts from friends and souvenirs from her honeymoon in Greece.
Her winter staple is cashmere because it's always classic.
The designer she's really craving this season is Chloé.

Suzanne Piubeni, owner/jewelry designer at Fusion Ethos FashionsShe caught our attention because of her red kicks and funky necklace.
She was cute and casual in a Religion jacket, an H&M top, PF Flyers shoes by New Balance, and a necklace she designed herself.
Her favorite accessories use found objects, like old keys, measuring tapes, and shoe hardware.
She says she prefers jewelry with a past: "There's a story behind things that have already been used."
She'd love to raid the closet of "Lady Gaga - just to see what the hell's in there."

Ken Straka, senior product
developer for New Balance
We chased him down because he was in purple plaid!
When picking out clothes, he starts with the shirt first. Then he heads to the office to grab a pair of shoes from the work closet. Talk about a wardrobe perk!
He says he hates it when guys wear "pleated khakis and running shoes."
His style is all about California, where he used to live (hence his love of bright colors). "I was inspired by the surf culture."
His current fashion goal is winning the mustache-growing contest at work. It's not going well.
