After consuming a magnum of bubbly on New Year's Eve, you and your liver will probably need some time to rest up. So does the Brahmin Sunday Social, a new weekly brunch event that kicked off in December at The Brahmin (33 Stanhope Street, Boston, 617.723.3131). It's taking a breather for Christmas and New Year's Day, but then it'll be back and ready to redefine your morning-after meal. Instead of taking the low-key recovery approach, the socials draw inspiration from the high-energy, hedonism-fueled feasts of NYC's Meatpacking District. DJ Chris Roxx will lure diners to the dance floor, and the Brahmin crew will roll out a special brunch menu, complete with $3 screwdrivers, from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Reservations are encouraged - but resolutions may best be left at the door.
