 The
fashion crush we’ve harbored for Marc Jacobs rivals the lust we’ve had
for chocolate since that first heart-shaped box came our way in second
grade. This Valentine’s Day, asking Marc to be our guy is totally out
of the question, so we’re going for the next best thing: Marc by Marc Jacobs Valentine’s Day accessories.
The heart-shaped, red-leather paperweight ($16), with “Yes” and “No”
conveniently embossed on either side, are the desk-accessoryversion of
Sweethearts Conversation Hearts; and the nylon umbrella tote ($12),
covered in vibrant purple, red, light pink, and blue hearts against a
black backdrop, is a loveable carr yall. Pick them up while supplies
last at Boston’s Marc by Marc Jacobs outpost (81 Newbury
Street, Boston, 617.425.0707). Marc by Marc has stolen our hearts yet
again with its distinctively fun and affordable designer duds and
accessories that don’t cost a month’s rent. Sure, they won’t last
forever. But neither would those chocolates. ...
