Summer’s party season is getting an early kickoff this year
thanks to the Urban Beach Party, hosted by
the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston’s Young Professional Group. From 6
to 10 p.m. on June 11, get some warmer-weather inspiration by mingling to music
from DJ Rebel the Ambassador on Fish Pier, sipping Sam Adams brews and Barefoot
Wine & Bubbly, and enjoying oh-so-summer bites from Legal Sea Foods. It’s
all happening at the Exchange Conference Center (212 Northern Avenue,
Boston, 617.530.9455). Tickets ($75) are available at www.bigsister.org, and
proceeds benefit Big Sister mentoring programs. Our big sisters never let us
tag along when they headed to the beach with their friends; these Big Sisters
help make sure that no girl gets left behind. We can’t think of a better reason
to break out a sundress and sandals!
