There’s a lot to get psyched about when the words “Bodega” and “collaboration” are put together. With several design collaborations already under Bodega’s belt, including projects with brands like Puma, Converse, and Reebok, it’s no shocker the hipster store with the secret entrance has been tapped to create an Adidas sneak that represents Boston. The sportswear company approached 25 of the country’s top sneaker shops to help design its Consortium Series and, appropriately enough,
picked Bodega to design the Boston Super trainer. We hear that the crew put some premium materials to good use and added some black to the original gray, Adidas- blue, and white color scheme. Sorry for the tease (we couldn’t help ourselves) — the shoes hit
Bodega (6 Clearway Street, Boston, 617.421.1550) and a handful of Consortium-affiliated stores in early November.
