Looking good, man.
You are so young. When is your birthday?
Colin Rhys opened his first Rhys Gallery for a tiny audience as a lowly Tufts sophomore hanging work on the walls of his Roxbury loft. He's since expanded to a stark-white Harrison Avenue space, the perfect canvas for the groundbreaking work he seeks out from national and international, emerging and mid-career artists. Rhys doesn't allow himself to be constrained by medium or thematic display, affording a truly unique experience for browsers and buyers alike. The still-young patron of the arts also exhibits on behalf of the gallery in art fairs from Dubai to São Paulo. And like the best kind of player, Rhys hasn't forgotten his roots: he hosts an annual "Proof of Purchase" fundraiser to benefit his second alma mater, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
