As if he didn't already have his hands full with his interior design firm, Duffy Design Group principal Dennis Duffy launched furniture and accessories studio D Scale earlier this year -- giving credence to the idea that sometimes, when looking for the perfect piece, it's easier to give in and design it yourself. Somehow Duffy has also found time to take on high-profile projects like the interior of Ligurian-Italian eatery Rocca, his SoWa neighbor, as well as charity work with groups including the AIDS Action Committee and Community Servings. If only he'd do some pro-bono work on our IKEA-filled apartment.
