This classic
hot-weather drink is just as satisfying in the biting cold, thanks to the extra
gingery snap that West on Centre gives its Dark and Stormy ($7),
supplementing the standard ingredients of Gosling’s dark rum and ginger beer
with fresh ginger, fresh ginger syrup, and, of course, a squeeze of lime. The
national drink of Bermuda has a happy home in Boston, and, frankly, we’re
not giving it back anytime soon, especially this extra-zippy version. And you can’t
