Meghan White

Age: 22.

Occupation: executive assistant at Regan Communications.

How often do you work out? Four days a week.

How do you stay in shape? I’ve been a dancer my whole life, so dancing has always been where I got my exercise. Now that I’m working fulltime, there isn’t time to take a dance class every day, so I like to mix it up with the treadmill, the elliptical, biking, and weight training.

What inspires you to work out? The energy that I get from working out. I don’t do it to look good; I do it to feel good.

How closely do you watch what you eat?
I watch very closely. I’ve learned since college that my metabolism with each year will start to slow down, so I tend to watch my carbohydrate intake and increase my protein intake.

What are your favorite foods? I love oatmeal with fruit for breakfast, lettuce wraps, and soup. I do love the occasional steak and mashed potatoes, but I don’t get that often.

What indulgence food tempts you the most? I have a deadly addiction to ice cream, which I let slide. I would much rather eat a bowl of ice cream than a slice of pizza.

What is your favorite exercise? A great jazz class or a cardio-kickboxing class.

What is your least favorite exercise? Running. I’m definitely not a marathon-standard runner.

You obviously have a great body now, but did you ever go through an awkward stage? I think always as a young woman, you’re your hardest critic. I think as I’m growing into the person that I want to be, I’m realizing that as long as you feel good in your own skin, then that’s all that matters. And I definitely fell victim to [the freshman 15] in college. I didn’t realize it until I saw pictures of myself.

What do you consider your best body part? Probably my stomach. Fortunately, I’ve never really had to work on that.

Any parts you’re insecure about? I have to work hardest at my legs and my hips. I love long legs, but I don’t think I’ll ever have those.

If you could have someone else’s body for a day, whose would it be?
Julianne Hough from Dancing with  the Stars. I love her!
