We can't think of a recent opening in the city that's garnered more buzz than that of the Achilles Project. It's exactly the kind of boost that the Seaport District, forever thisclose to living up to the hype, has needed. Co-founders Michael Krupp and Shaka Ramsay have roots in the music business and in retail; it also helps that they're both unequivocally cool. They brought in executive chef Michael Leviton from the 'burbs (he owns Newton's stellar Lumière) to helm Persephone, the Project's chic yet unpretentious eatery, and stocked the attached boutique with hard-to-find, cutting-edge labels. And believe it or not, it gets even better: displays of work from local artists will be changing monthly, and Achilles is devoted to running as eco-friendly as possible.
