Jon Schoeck, general manager of Jillian’s, Lucky Strike Lanes, and Tequila Rain
Jon Schoeck has been an on-and-off player in Boston’s nightlife scene for the past 20 years. As a student at Northeastern, he tended bar on Lansdowne Street, but then his heat-seeking hospitality career took him westward to manage hotels in Hawaii and Indonesia. Now he’s back. As the new general manager at Jillian’s, Lucky Strike Lanes, and Tequila Rain, he’s bringing his global perspective to the nightlife trifecta nestled in the very part of town where he got his start in this crazy business. “The nightlife and people of Boston are very unique,” says Schoeck, who just hit his six-month mark with the company that’s kept Boston entertained for over 20 years. “This city has a great reputation, all over the world.” Schoeck is eager to keep that reputation at the top of the industry heap, while keeping fun affordable for everyone. “We’re giving guests value for their dollar, so that everyone can have a good time in difficult times. And we want to continue to be an entertainment landmark for the next 20 years.”
