Make your New Year’s Resolutions, then choose your strategy
Like everyone else in the Western world, you’ve made a New Year’s resolution. Well, good for you. But identifying your resolution is the easy part. Now you have to keep the damned thing.
There are generally three ways to follow through on your New Year’s resolutions: the balls to the wall “I’m going to do this even if it’s a slow kind of torture” full-on attack; the more reasonable “setting attainable and pragmatic goals for myself” approach; and the most commonly adopted resolution strategy, the “You know what? Fuck it” plan.
