Even if you only watch for the chance that someone slips in
their stilletos, everyone loves a good pageant. Tomorrow night, check out the
ladies reppin’ New England at Catwalk
for a Cause, a Miss USA charity send-off show at The Estate (1 Boylston Place, Boston, 617.351.7000) from 6:30–9:30
p.m. Before the contestants from Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Vermont head
off to Vegas for the main event, the ladies will flex their fierceness for the
Boston crowd while clad in fashions from New Bedford’s Crowing Touch boutique
and coifs from Newbury Street’s La Tete Salon. All proceeds from the fashion
show benefit Children’s Hospital Boston, so all the sequins and strutting are
for a good cause. Tickets can be purchased online for $15 at http://boston.going.com/MissUSAcharity
or for $20 at the door.
