Since Boston Fashion Week festivities had the STUFF team up at all hours this weekend, celebrating the amazing style we saw (okay, and once or twice snickering at the bad ideas that sashayed our way), Monday is our day of rest from hosting our After-Party Series. But we’ll be back at it tomorrow night and through Fashion Week’s close on Friday, providing you with plenty of opportunities to party with your fellow fashion plates (and giving you the chance to win a fabulous night on the town on us — find out details here). But just because we’re giving our livers an evening’s reprieve doesn’t mean we won’t still be checking out today’s events, and so should you! At 6 p.m., head on over to the Boston Center for Adult Education (122 Arlington Street, Boston, 617.267.4430) for Style Summit: Life Styles, where a panel packed with fashion mavens will discuss some of the fashion industry's most pressing issues, from fair trade to repurposed fashion to the role of virtual networking. Tickets ($35, $30 for BCAE members) are available through the BCAE website. When you’re done donning your thinking cap, indulge the creative (and charitable) side of your brain with Remix: The Stylist Closet at Hotel 140 (140 Clarendon Street, Boston, 617.585.5600). Starting with a cocktail reception at 8 p.m., the event will highlight vintage clothing restyled by Boston stylist Terry Mahn, and you can even shop right off the runway if something catches your eye. The $5 suggested door donations will support Dress for Success, a national non-profit that outfits disadvantaged women with professional attire so that they can find jobs and economic self-sufficiency.
