102909 STUFF We Love

There are probably times when you're riding the temperamental but beloved T home and you get to wondering what your T-mates are actually like. Is that cute brunette in business casual a great dancer? Is that grumpy dude in the Sox sweatshirt secretly an opera buff? Well, here’s your chance to find out and socialize with your fellow strap-hangers, as the Boston T Party is returning for a second ride this Sunday, November 1, at 7 p.m, starting at the Washington Street station of the Green Line (B) Inbound. Once you clamber on, get cozy and share snacks and (of course) tea with your newfound friends. Colonial period costumes are encouraged, but if you want to get another use out of your Halloween costume or just come as you are, that’s great too. And if you're musically inclined, bring your instrument to help strike up an impromptu band. By the time you hit Packard's Corner at 7:11 p.m., you may have discovered that the brunette does a mean, if constricted, salsa down the aisle. When you've reached the Kenmore station at 7:24 p.m., the seemingly gruff old dude could be warbling in falsetto. Afterwards, you'll all meet up in Cheers Faneuil Hall at around 7:45 p.m. and discuss how the concept is nearly as genius as the one those rebellious Bostonians came up with way back when. Admission? $1.70 with your Charlie Card, just like always. Find more information at bostontparty.org.
